Exceptional Talents being Recruited from Abroad

 

The China University of Political Science and Law is a key university under “project 211”. It features legal science as one of its strongest programs and integrates multiple subjects into the curriculum. These subjects include: literature, historical science, philosophy, economics, management science, and education. The University is also directly affiliated with the PRC's Ministry of Education. It currently boasts two campuses (a distance of 33 kilometers from each other), namely, the Xuyuan Road Campus in the Haidian District, and Fuxue Road Campus in the Changping District. These campuses are connected with shuttle buses. The following positions are currently being recruited from abroad:

 

I. One Professor of International Law and one Professor of Intellectual Property Rights Law:
 

(I) Recruitment Conditions:

1. Must have obtained a Doctorate Degree at a University abroad, and must have served as a professor or in an equivalent position at a renowned institute of higher education abroad, a scientific research institute, or a renowned international enterprise or financial institution;

2. Must have conducted top-rate research work within their field, and published 3-5 academic influences within important key publications over the past 5 years, as well as one representative publication;

3. Guaranteed full-time work at the place of recruitment during the employment period (Annual working time on campus during the employment period shall be no less than 6 months.);

The school will report the candidates who meet the aforementioned conditions to the Ministry of Education as candidates of the state “thousands of people plan”, and the employment contract will be signed with the university only after the approval of the relevant state department is obtained.

 

（II）Employment Terms:

Annual remuneration: RMB 500,000 to 600,000 Yuan; The university will provide a corresponding office, office equipment, and one scientific research assistant; One house with complete basic domestic facilities owned by the school in Changping, and 2-3 round-trip economy class air-tickets from the candidate's country of residence to Beijing during employment period.

 

II. One Lecture Professor of International Law, and one Professor of Environmental Protection Law for The Yangtze River

 

Scholar Lecture:

(I) Recruitment Conditions:

1. Must work on the forefront of overseas teaching and currently be conducting general scientific research as a top-level

university professor or other corresponding position;

2. Must have demonstrated profound academic achievements and created important influences within their subject field; must have obtained international recognition for these important achievements;

3. Must have written one representative work and 3 influential academic theses over the past 5 years;

4. Employment Period: three years; Working Time: three months per year (no less than 2 months on campus);

Those candidates who meet the aforementioned conditions will be reported to the Ministry of Education as candidates for the University, and the employment contract will be signed with the University only after approval is received from the Ministry of Education.

 

(II) Employment Terms:

Monthly Wage: RMB 30,000 Yuan; One house with complete basic domestic facilities owned by the school in Changping, and 2 round-trip economy class air-tickets from the candidate's country of residence to Beijing will be provided during the employment period.

 

III. One Lecturer or Senior Lecturer of Criminal Law or Criminal Procedural Law:

(I) Recruitment Conditions:

1. Must have obtained a PhD from a renowned foreign university;

2. Priority will be given to those with several years of teaching experience at a renowned foreign university, and with noted scientific research achievements;

3. Full-time work on campus;

4 .Two vacations: Summer vacation: July to September; Winter Vacation and Spring Festival: 4 Weeks:

(II) Employment Terms:

Monthly wage: RMB 6,000 Yuan; RMB 250,000 Yuan as one-time relocation fee will be granted; one turnover house with complete domestic facilities on the Changping campus will be provided for rent (no more than 2 years) during the employment period;

The university may communicate individually with the applicants on the terms of employment for each of the aforementioned positions according to the specific conditions of the applicants.
