The heart of DSP process is  Aman  spray “roaster” in which magnesium chloride brine is thermally decomposed. The only raw material involved is magnesium chloride brine, whereas all other routes to magnesium oxide involve the use of an ore-derived material lime, dolomite or magnesite.
Aman 喷雾焙烧炉是DSP生产过程的核心,它能使富含氯化镁的海水进行高温分解。该装置所涉及的唯一原材料是含氯化镁的海水，而其它生产氧化镁的工艺需要使用从矿石获得的石灰、白云石或菱镁矿作为原材料。
DSP’s MgO is thus inherently free of the impurities that derive from the ore-based raw material (oxides of silicon, aluminum, iron, and manganese; poisonous elements such
as lead, mercury and arsenic). Compared with magnesia from other sources, our MgO is purer than ore-based products often by orders of magnitude in respect to silica, iron, lead and mercury. The following 2 tables show the purity advantages obtained by using Dead Sea water as the raw material and the Aman thermal decomposition process in comparison with magnesia obtained from sea water using lime, and with magnesia obtained from typical magnesite ore based product.
因此DSP就能生产出不含杂质的氧化镁，这些杂质可能来自于矿石为基础的原材料（硅的氧化物、铝、铁和锰；有毒元素诸如铅，汞和砷）。相比其他来源的氧化镁，按照有关硅石，铁，铅和汞的数量级，我们生产的氧化镁产品比起矿石为基材的产品要纯净的多。下列两个表格显示的是通过使用死海的海水作为原材料并以Aman高温分解的方法所获得的氧化镁与使用石灰从海水获得的氧化镁，和以传统的菱镁矿矿石为基材获得氧化镁的产品纯度优势比较。
Due to the well-controlled and monitored process we ensure consistency of product as well as quality for all of its TS grades range. Since all of our processes are tightly controlled we can tailor-make MgO grades that meet the Transformer Steel manufacturer requirements in terms of particle sizing, both absolute and distribution , the MgO slurry viscosity , its density and activity.
由于良好的监控过程，我们确保产品的连贯性且其质量符合其全部TS级别系列标准。因为所有的生产过程都被严格的控制，我们可以就按照变压器钢生产商所要求的氧化镁的颗粒大小（包括绝对尺寸，和颗粒分布），氧化镁的浆液黏度，其密度和活性，专门制造出由符合级别要求氧化镁。
These parameters enable the Transformer steel producer to obtain uniform, thin and smooth coatings of magnesia with lowest possible values of hydration LOI, excellent adherence to the metal and even coating of upper and lower surfaces. In-house studies of mixtures of ICL’s magnesia from its two sources, DSP and Scora, show that in many cases the use of combinations yields better performance the either single product used alone. Due to the high purity and cleanliness of our TS MgO grades we are able to tailor make any requested composition and add any requested ingredient according to the end-user requirements.
这些参数可以使得变压器钢生产商获得规格一致的，既薄又光滑的氧化镁涂层，该涂层的水合烧失量极其的低，拥有卓越的金属黏附性及平整的上下表面。根据对DSP和Scora这两个来源的ICL氧化镁混合物的室内研究，显示在许多情况下，比起使用单个的产品，使用组合产品能够获得更高的性能。由于我们TS级别的氧化镁具有高纯度性和洁净度，我们可以根据终端客户的要求，为其专门制造出所要求的合成产品和添加其所需要的成分。
